Ahalia Women and Children’s hospital, The Department of Pediatrics provides all-encompassing consultative specialty care for children of all ages, from infants to adolescents. We aim to provide prompt medical attention to every child who comes to us. We have fielded experienced skilled and committed team of doctors in Neonatology and Pediatrics. We are guided by our commitment to excellence and high standards of care, providing comprehensive health care to all from the neonatal period to till 18 years of age. A 24-hour pediatric and neonatal emergency service is available, led by a dedicated team of professionals on-site, at all times.

Those children who need inpatient care, are admitted to the pediatric inpatient rooms and wards, where excellent care for the child and family is provided in a very good ambiance. A high-dependency pediatric care (HDU) facility is available for those who are very sick and need intensive monitoring during an emergency. This department services offers initial stabilization/treatment of those who need Inpatient care (IV Cannulation, IV Fluids administration, Blood collection), Common pediatric procedures- nebulization, IV Cannulations, Blood collection, Growth monitoring, Health promotion, Patients and family education, vaccinations, injections, glucometer monitoring of blood sugar, etc. The department will soon provide Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) services like Development Pediatrics, ADHD Diagnosis and treatment and other super specialities.
